Over one month later, the broken engine has been replaced by local engineers, however, the aircraft is still not able to fly back to its home base in The Netherlands. The aircraft was on its way from Shanghai to Amsterdam with a full load of cargo. The aircraft diverted to Beijing Capital Airport due to a technical issue with one of the engines on New Year’s Eve.
